Cliff Samson

President

Clifford Samson

Cliff Samson is a Dog handler and Trainer for the Manitoba Emergency Services College. He retired after 27 years with the Winnipeg Police Service where he spent over 15 years with the Canine Unit. Cliff Has worked and trained Police, Detector Dogs and Search and Rescue dogs. His current dog is a chocolate Lab named "Flash" @"Buddy". Cliff has been involved with the Canadian Police Canine Association for 10 years.

 

Brian Amm

Brian Amm

Brian Amm is a retired Police Officer and Trainer from the Calgary Police Service. Brian has been involved in the Canadian Police Canine Association since it began back in 1978. During that time he has always been an active supporter of our Association and has held every director position that we have. Brian is still active training and Certifying Police Service Dogs for several agencies.

 

 

Paul Jones

Paul Jones

Paul Jones is a previous handler and trainer of the Edmonton Police Service Canine Unit. Paul had been a handler with their unit for eight years. Paul has been a big supporter of the CPCA for years and is now involved in the setting up of the Alberta Provincial Police Canine Association. Paul and Steele were the 2004 Champions of the Canadian Police Canine Association Trials. 
 

 

 

Jon Zielinski

Director

Jon Zielinski

Jon is the newest director of the CPCA and was voted in by the membership at the Annual Police Dog Trials in Saskstoon Sask. Jon and his PSD Bauer placed third overall at tha years competition.  

 

Doug Smith

Director

Doug Smith

Doug Smith is a Canine Handler from the Canada Border Services. Doug is a long time Specialty Drug Dog handler and trainer. Doug has been a big supporter of the Canadian Police Canine Association for years and has won several Canadian Police Canine Association trials and has also assisted numerous times as a judge. 

 

Sean Millard

Treasurer

Sean Millard

Sean Millard is an active member of the Victoria Police Service's Canine Unit. Sean has been an active supporter of our Association for many years and has served the past three years as the treasurer for our Association. 

 

Steve Kaye

Director

Steve Kaye

Steve Kaye is the Sergeant i/c and trainer of the Saskatoon Police Service Canine Unit. Steve and the rest of his unit were proud to be the host of the 2008 CPCA trials which were run in conjunction with the CAN-AM games.The 2010 CPCA trials will be held in Prince Albert Saskatchewan.
